My Driftless Shots

I'm in love with photography and I love taking my camera with me almost wherever I go. =)

Here are some of my Driftless Shots, collections of pictures I took and manipulated using my very reliable Photoshop. =P

I named this one "Serenity at Serendra" took this photo when me and my GFF's hang out there. I love the simplicity of this photo. 

This one is "Nikki's First". I am so proud of myself for having been able to take this shot with its background on blurred.  (I didn't use photoshop for this one, I set my lens on manual focus). I named my iPad Nikki, because we used to call our beloved granny "Nikki". =D (I Miss Her So MUCH, I know she's happy in heaven now).

After my papa gave Marley (my Nikon D3K dslr), this was the first time I took a shot with my lens on manual settings. It's been months since I was back to school and I've been busy so it's less time with Marley.

Here's another, the Church near MOA. I took this shot when me and my friends and classmates attended the 16th STI - NYC (National Youth Convention). I fell in love with the church the first time I set eyes on it. =)

By the way, all these shots have different settings and summer is right just around the corner, which means more time for me to shot away and have photowalks with my friends and hopefully, I'll be able to spend time with my Team D3K group from Digital Photographer Philippines. =D *happy*

And also, I'm back to oDesking, which also means that I'll be a bit busy this summer writing, writing and writing. =)

The STI Sportsfest

As I have previously blogged that I am back to school for like months now, Sportsfest will come Tuesday and I am not very much excited about it as I thought I would be... *sigh*

10 days ago (not that sure if it was 10 days though), an Assembly Meeting was held for Cluster *, which is the cluster where my block section belongs to. I was expecting that it'll be the time our cluster heads/advisers will be listing students who would like to join games and I was puzzled to hear that there were already chosen players for some sporting games like basketball and volleyball. I don't want to pin point courses and names here, but the vital point was that they didn't even bother to inform us IT students to list for the try outs if there is one, they could have easily posted it on school bulletin boards, that way students from our section will be informed.

I talked with the cluster head and he told me that he informed our class adviser that there will be a meeting and students can list their names for the tryouts, then I asked my adviser and he told me that he didn't know of such thing... *now even more puzzled*

Such a bad start for me and some of my friends who were excited about the Sportsfest too...

I really want to participate in the coming school Sportsfest, but I guess things were done and decisions have already been made...

Me and my closest friend Edil will be attending the Opening Day come Tuesday to support some of our friends and take pictures too. Then, we'll be concentrating on reviewing for the Prefinal Exams and for giving ourselves some little break. =)

I told Edil, that we wear black shirts on Tuesday as there are no clusters using that color. Since she don't have any yellow shirts and I only have one which is in the list of my least fav shirts, black shirts will do. =)

All I have to do is enjoy taking pictures and spending time with friends.
